Bio

Zach Marshall was born and raised in Conroe, Texas.  He has been writing his own songs and playing music since 2002.  His songs range from folk, country, and rock.  Currently, his musical career has been on the back burner to raise a family and sustain a career, but is looking to make a return to the love of music and performance.   "He writes what he knows and is the blue collar workers' songsmith." - Jeff Butler, Longhaul Band

In the early 2000's, Zach Marshall attended and graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.  Throughout his college years and earlier adulthood, he played gigs in bars, coffee shops, festivals, and benefits, throughout Texas.  Whether full band or acoustic, he delivers songs that people can relate to, in their own way. His songs are about life. Songs of love, broken hearts, good times, and bad habits.  From his own words, "One of my most fondest memories was a gig in 2005, with Ryan Bingham.  Afterwards, we went back to our hotel and passed the guitars around until the early morning hours. He and several others in the Texas music scene, as well as other musicians from my childhood, have inspired me to write songs to this day."

Currently, Zach Marshall is still raising a family and pursuing a career.  After a long hiatus, he previously recorded his debut album, and released it in the Spring of 2018. Currently, he and his band, The Whenavailables, have teamed up with  Adam Odor at The Yellow Dog Studios in Wimberley, Texas.  They recorded his sophomore album for the follow up from their debut album, Reinventing the Wheel. Marshall’s new single, “Feet Back on the Ground”, from his sophomore album of the same name shows his prowess as a “songwriter’s songwriter” that easily relates to the everyman. The new album comes out December 16th, 2022. Stay tuned for more information and check out the website for some available songs, gig photos, and sign up for a mailing list.
